Overall, as a gamer, it is the best phone I have ever owned and I will never get rid of it unless another phone with a gamepad comes out. It's better at N64 but on par with just about everything else, give or take a few niggles on either device. I know in the Midlands area B'ham all stores were sold out within days of them being reduced. I bagged the last but one from the Sutton Coldfield branch. The XDA dev forums are also a great source of modding info - I installed the latest Doomkernel v6 on it today and the phone operation is buttery smooth full 60fps in menus, scrolling, drag and drop etc.

My Wildfire is grindtastic these days and the main memory is full of apps that can't be moved to the SD card! Love the idea of a phone with proper gaming controls, touchscreen doesn't cut the mustard. Mine arrived today, and im happily messing around with it as i type this. I will know be spending the next few days finding the best emulators and games.

Other issues with he phone, brightness on the screen was really do cex accept rooted phones, fine for indoors but in the sun you cant see the screen at all again might of been fixed on newer models. Camera had a blue tint on every photo, again might of been fixed. So aside from the initial problems when it came out which may or may not have been fixed, as a phone for emulation gaming its fantastic, plus it all runs along pretty quick too, didnt have any problems with android lag even when taking the system with lots of tasks, so thats another plus, N64 emulation was running full speed for example.
Simply put these phones are gorgeous and without a shadow of any doubt are the best phones on the market. The best phone in the universe. Mine runs two full days without charge, a custom ROM and kernel is the only way to run it. Out of the box they die fast and come preloaded with tons of junk you can't get rid of. QC, if you need to free up memory you might want to look into messing around with your phone, maybe installing a custom rom or something maybe rooting it.
